Following the 2021 lockdowns in Sydney, our team was thrown into the thick of production when we were brought an opportunity to collaborate alongside Yves St Laurent for their 2021 Holiday campaign. Through an intensive pitching process, our team conceptualised an overarching campaign which was inclusive of a brand video, social cut-downs, a how-to makeup tutorial, photography and a BTS-video — all of which had to be produced within a rigorous 4 week deadline.

With Elle Ferguson as our hero, the concept for Gift Gold, Gift Bold, Gift YSL was born. The piece needed to align with the global advertising done with the likes of Dua Lipa and Zoe Kravitz, showing off female empowerment in an edgy and strong narrative. To add an Aussie spin to it, we filmed this against the grand backdrop of The State Theatre.

Be bold. Be beautiful. Be YSL.

My involvement here included the initial creative conceptualisation with the internal team and client pitch, organisation of all production elements including crew management and briefing, budgeting, scheduling, location management and driving all post production elements to completion within a single week.

The work on this project led to being awarded a 2022 Bronze Telly Award in the Beauty category for online commercials.
