In June 2020, Bailey Nelson approached us with a vision to create a series of six social videos for a consumer education-focused campaign which promoted the brand’s various product USP’s — price promotions, glass benefits, customer service values, and more.
Being at the height of COVID, we ideated a concept which allowed to us to execute our creative vision with a skeleton crew and cast. Our focus was on using minimalistic and engaging visual art direction with bright colours in combination with simple typography and a relatable voice over. The success of the video across social media, in-turn led to a larger brand video campaign in June 2021.
My personal involvement in this project included direct client liaison, storyboard ideation, casting for talent and voice, overall art direction, on-set assistant directing, and post production supervision. The art direction was largely based on the pre-existing Bailey Nelson brand guidelines and we worked to create a visual direction which was fun, casual and relatable to a younger audience.
